Anyway, over the last couple of weeks we’ve had more and more staff declare their general hatred for fansubbing, and this, coupled with the fact that yet another of our translators has disappeared (I’m pretty sure kami sexes them up), has brought the untimely demise of spoonsubs to a point. It’s unfortunate, but those of us that still remain loyal to the group will attempt to pick up the pieces and move on. I would like to wish Astrea good luck at his new job working for ADV, even if the others are on less friendly terms.
Expect new releases never. ;_;

This episode was a little delayed due to my hard drive dying a week ago. it was a 7 year old Maxtor, and it had all of my important stuff (avisynth scripts, ALL my programs, irc logs, 10gb of h-manga/doujinshi). luckily i recovered it, but i’m definitely going to back up my important data in the future. those girls are too precious to me!

I was going to include this in the relevant episode newspost but i forgot about it until recently, so it’ll end up here before i forget it forever.
This building, from the opening of Sketchbook episode 11, exists in real life. It niggled at me for a bit when i first saw it in the raw, but i didn’t look it up until later.

It’s been a while since I last did a serious newspost, so bear with me.
Sketchbook is quite a lovely show, and we’ve had a good time subbing it. We’ve even recruited a few staff members because of this show (DMZ and Astrea). It’s a shame that we ended up finishing slower than we’d liked to, but now that everything is done, we at Spoon Subs hope you enjoy the last episode.
